In contrast to Hopper's worldwide success with EASY RIDER (1969), OUT OF THE BLUE was never screened in the Netherlands and was quickly labelled a “lost cult film”. With the support of fans such as Chloë Sevigny, the film has finally been restored in 2022. We at De Uitkijk are proud to give OUT OF THE BLUE its Dutch premiere!
