Caché (2005) (EN subs) | Tapis Rouge Classiques x De Uitkijk

Tapis Rouge Classiques returns to De Uitkijk with Michael Haneke’s Caché (2005). The film will be introduced on 12 April by Pierre-Pascal Bruneau, founder and chairman of the L’Echappée Foundation and Tapis Rouge. 

Georges, a literary journalist, receives videos of his family filmed secretly from the street. He also receives disturbing, difficult-to-interpret drawings. He has no idea who is sending him these things.

Gradually, the content of the tapes becomes increasingly personal, suggesting that the sender has known Georges for a very long time. Georges feels that he and his family are under threat. However, because the threat is not really concrete, the police refuse to help him.
